Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, or a related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse, learner-centred, and inclusive environment
- High emotional intelligence, empathy, and resilience
- Strong organisational skills and attention to confidentiality
- Commitment to ethical and safeguarding practices

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide supervised and confidential counselling support to students through individual or small group sessions
- Support learners with personal, social, emotional, or educational concerns under the guidance of the School Counsellor
- Help students identify goals, develop action plans, and build self-awareness through reflective and therapeutic processes
- Maintain appropriate and confidential counselling records in accordance with school policies
- Participate in student support meetings and professional learning discussions
- Support counselling programme scheduling, data collection, and preparation of materials
- Assist with counselling events, awareness campaigns, and parent workshops
- Contribute to a culture of belonging, inclusion, respect, and student well-being
- Participate in biweekly supervision sessions with a member of the counselling department
- Attend professional learning workshops and reflective practice sessions
- Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice
- Uphold all school safeguarding, ethical, and confidentiality requirements
- Contribute positively to the wider school community
